A Llangollen sunset pre-wedding session // Lucy & Dan

After 12 years together, Lucy and Dan are finally tying the knot this summer in Lucy’s hometown of Llangollen, North Wales. After meeting at university, the two of them have been inseparable. They both love travel and adventure. At Fox & Bear we LOVE getting to know our couples. We’ve been following Lucy’s instagram for the last year, getting massively jealous by the amount of travelling they get up to!

The proposal happened in Australia, but when planning their wedding they decided to stay close to home, back in North Wales.

For their pre wedding shoot, we decided to head to the Horseshoe Falls in Llangollen. This is a special place for the couple as Lucy’s grandparents have a farm just around the corner and Dan spends a lot of time cycling the area. Dan loves to cycle so much that he once biked from his home city of Newcastle to North Wales to see Lucy. So cute!

We’ve had an amazing summer so far and this evening was no exception, just check out this awesome sunset. It gives such a beautiful warmth to the photos. The love Lucy & Dan have for each other really came through in this photoshoot.

We’ve said it before but we absolutely love pre-wedding sessions. It’s the perfect chance to chat and to get to know each other. Chatting wedding & travel plans… oh and about cake- got us all excited for the wedding to come!

We cannot wait for these guys to get married. For now, enjoy a selection of the pre-wedding photos.
