Snowdonia Elopment Shoot
If you are all about bohemian styling, laidback vibes and glorious scenery then feast your eyes on today’s blog.
When we’re not super busy photographing weddings we love to collaborate with other wedding suppliers and organise styled wedding shoots. We get together, discuss a theme and everyone brings their A-game. These kind of shoots are great for honing our skills, getting creative and playing around with styles. We also get to step away from the computer and hanging out with some of our favourite wedding industry people.
Bohemian Wedding Photography
Here at Fox & Bear we are huge fans of chilled out weddings with a touch of simplicity. Give us a fab couple, a day stamped with their own personality and some fantastic locations and we’ll bring the photography magic! That was the ethos behind this styled shoot which took place in Snowdonia. We teamed up with some of the best independent suppliers in the industry, people who we love working with and who share the same values as us. We all wanted to show off the beautiful locations within Snowdonia that had inspired our shoot. Since working on this shoot, we have been back to Llyn Idwal with one of our amazing couples who got married in Hafod Barn. Styled shoots are not about showing what we can’t do on a wedding day, but what is possible to do with your wedding day. If you want to head into the mountains to capture some amazing photographs, let’s do it.
Snowdonia Wedding Photography
Cwm Idwal, a valley within Snowdownia, is one of our favourite spots. Surrounded by amazing views we knew it was the ideal location for our portraits. Llyn Idwal, with its vast undisturbed views right down the valley, was where we set up. Working with the amazingly talented Jade Leung on style, she chose to keep things simple and adopt a real ‘less is more’ approach. Weddings always have the couple at the centre and that’s what we wanted to focus on. The whole shoot was inspired by the landscape surrounding us, the dark mountains set against the green landscape and the delicate, purple heather. We set up a rustic farmhouse table and the hues of the wildflowers perfectly complemented the black table settings and gold accents.
There is so much we could say about the styling of the shoot, or our incredible couple, but it’s always best to let the pictures do the talking. Scroll down for some stunning Snowdonia landscapes and to get inspiration for your own boho inspired wedding day.
