Wow, just wow. That was a year. I mean every year is a year, but that was something else. 2020 was such a monumental disruption it feels like it is only now coming to a close. What a year it has been for wedding photography in North Wales! We have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing couples, and we have been truly inspired by their love and commitment to each other. We’ve had tears and laughter and all the emotions. Mwah, chefs kiss!
So, we wanted to share some of our achievements and highlights from the year. In October, we were thrilled to win the North Wales Wedding Award for the best wedding photographers. This was at the top of our list of achievements this year. This award was voted for by our previous couples, and we are so grateful to them for their support and recognition. We were both shocked and so utterly over the moon to have won.
In addition to winning this prestigious award, we have also had the opportunity to photograph over 40 weddings this year. We have been to some of the most beautiful and unique locations in North Wales, including Hafod Farm, Henblas Country Park, Nant Gwynant, and, always a favourite, so many stunning gardens and outdoor weddings. We have been in the beauty of the Snowdonia mountains and the romance of sunsets on the beach and everything in between.
And that’s it for 2020 as far as we’re concerned. Covid threw such a spanner in the works for so many people. It sucks and it wasn’t fair. This year saw our last postponement wedding closing that chapter of our book. We will be forever grateful for the resilience and flexibility of our couples, and we are so happy that we were able to help them celebrate their special day.
So, 2023, what will you bring. We’re excited for all the possibilities and opportunities. We can’t wait to continue capturing beautiful memories for our couples and families, and we are committed to continue to provide the best possible service and experience in North Wales.
Thank you to all of our couples, past and present, for choosing us to be a part of your day. We are truly honoured and grateful. Ever onwards and upwards to an even better year of wedding photography in 2023!
