We were scrolling through our blog recently and it dawned on us that we hadn’t yet shared Laura & Gwilym’s engagement shoot, which we just can’t believe. I mean, how did we overlook this?! Now, I know we’re in the year 2021, during yet another UK wide lockdown, but we’re so excited about the year to come. Let’s all take ourselves back to the good ol’ days of 2019 for some warm summer evenings with good company.
Laura and Gwilym are both teachers working out in Hong Kong, but decided to get married back home in North Wales. While making a visit to see family and get things ready for their wedding we agreed to meet up, grab a drink and take some photos. Both being outdoor loving adventurers, they wanted an engagement shoot that would reflect this, and Llyn Idwal was the perfect location. Somewhere that looks amazing in both glorious sun and the classic North Wales rain. Dramatic, rugged scenery with a lake to boot, whats not to love. Laura & Gwilym donned their sunglasses and together we explored the fantastic spots this location has to offer.
It was while we were wandering around the lake that we decided that if possible, we’d be coming back into the mountains during their wedding day, so thats what we did. Watch this space, we will share that incredible shoot real soon…
