The Journal – Wedding Photo Album

Couples Family Inspiration Wedding

We recently got our studio sample for our new photo album and We. Are. In. Love!

We’ve always been advocates for printing your work. Both personal and professional, your photographs should be on display. We love looking through the photos from our own wedding and even have a wall dedicated to photographs of our family and friends.

As soon as our sample album arrived, I (Dewi) immediately started planning to have our wedding photos printed in a Journal.

The Journal comes in a soft leather wrap which isn’t attached to the album. From first glance, it’s beautiful and inviting. For the fellow nerds out there; it feels like receiving the diary from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The album itself is printed on archival cotton rag paper. The images have a matt finish and the edges of the pages are hand-torn. It’s like someone saw Fox & Bear, and designed an album just for us and our couples.

  • 100% archival acid-free natural white cotton paper.
  • 310gsm lay-flat pages have the perfect thickness and tight crease
  • Deep blacks and vivid colors thanks to archival pigment inks
  • Fully archival museum grade prints with colorfastness rated to 100+ years

If you’d like your own Journal just get in touch. We have them as a part of our wedding packages and can be purchased individually. They don’t have to be limited to weddings either. A Journal would make a fantastic keepsake for family memories.

Fox & Bear Personal – Bear’s Wedding Ring
I'm in the market for a new wedding ring. It makes me sad but I'm going to have to get a new one before my wedding band breaks and I lose it for good. I should probably explain that when we we're planning our wedding, I broke from the traditional metal and went for a wooden ring. When we were looking for wedding bands I just couldn't find anything that was right for me. We are strong believers in couples doing what is right for them when it comes to getting married. For me, I just wasn't getting excited about silver or gold (seemingly the only choices for grooms back when we were planning). Vicky suggested looking for something that wasn't ...

The Fox and Bear Guide – How to Organise a Garden Wedding
We live in the countryside and we love it. Playing in the garden, our daughter is growing up with sheep, cows and even alpaca for neighbours. Anyone who looks through our portfolio can see that we are in love with the outdoors. Gardens are the perfect canvas for a personal and natural wedding, and we just adore them. Yes there is a lot of organisation required, but don't let that put you off.  We've got your back. Here is the Fox & Bear guide to organising the perfect garden wedding. Garden Location Ok, so first thing's first, do you have a venue that you can use? Perhaps you're lucky enough to own a sizeable plot of land that ...

Flintshire, Garden Wedding Wales // Helen & Sion
I love a wedding which is full of love and laugher, and this one had both in abundance. Such a fantastic day spent with a great couple, Helen and Sion. I loved that the ceremony was in Welsh too, it's so important to keep the Welsh language alive in our country (even if I only understood a small amount of it). I even got to meet Bryn Williams and Sharleen Spiteri who were guests which was pretty cool. Congratulations guys! ...
