Fun Pre-Wedding Session, Trearddur Bay

After the most ridiculous summer heat, we arranged meet up with Jess & Gio at the Sea Shanty for an ice cream and a chat about their upcoming wedding. As a family, we love Trearddur Bay in Anglesey. We’ve already given Freya her first dip in the sea here and we cannot wait for her to be searching the rock pools for crabs as she gets older. Mama P (Jess’s mum) has recently bought a house in this lovely beachside town and the place holds a special place in the hearts of Jess, Gio and their family. Which is why they have chosen this amazing place to get married.

Typically, after non stop sunshine for weeks, the day we met the sun didn’t want to make an appearance.  We had coffees instead of ice cream and chatted all things wedding (along with chats about the summer solstice, going vegan and the shipping forecast 😂). As we approached The Boathouse in Trearddur Bay, we realised that the mist was just perfect for a impromptu pre-wedding session. We were greeted by the most amazing scene of a jetty pointing out into a sea with no end, so I grabbed my camera from the car and we had a mini session right there. These two are so in love and so natural. It’s impossible not to be super excited about their upcoming wedding.

It really is a joy and a privilege to capture the love shared between our couples.

If you’re getting married and want to meet up, chat about your plans and capture some awesome photographs at the same time, get in touch!

A Llangollen sunset pre-wedding session // Lucy & Dan
After 12 years together, Lucy and Dan are finally tying the knot this summer in Lucy's hometown of Llangollen, North Wales. After meeting at university, the two of them have been inseparable. They both love travel and adventure. At Fox & Bear we LOVE getting to know our couples. We've been following Lucy's instagram for the last year, getting massively jealous by the amount of travelling they get up to! The proposal happened in Australia, but when planning their wedding they decided to stay close to home, back in North Wales. For their pre wedding shoot, we decided to head to the Horseshoe Falls in Llangollen. This is a special plac ...
